Leonardo is one of three pre-exascale supercomputers announced by EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, it is hosted and managed by CINECA, and it is currently ranked at the 4th position in the Top500 list.
Leonardo will replace the near-to-dismission Marconi100 cluster as the CINECA accelerated platform.
It is starting its pre-production phase on Monday, May 29th, and the access will be granted to all Eurofusion researchers who are currently users of Marconi100.
The webinar is meant to present the new HPC system, its architecture, the programming and the production environments available on Leonardo.
We will give a brief description of the hardware component, the access to the cluster, the available software environment and compilers, the partitions dedicated to Eurofusion community, and the way to submit jobs via the SLURM scheduler.
