OpenAIRE: An update on the FP7 Post-Grant OA Pilot 16 months into the project

Cineca as OpenAIRE National Open Access Desk is organizing the third webinar on the “FP7 Post-Grant OA publishing Funds”(2015-2017), the pilot project that covers OA Article Processing Charges (APCs) for FP7 projects up to two years after they end.

Pablo de Castro, coordinator of the pilot project, will provide an up-to-date insight into the progress of the FP7 Post-Grant Open Access Pilot, which is quickly approaching a year and a half since it was launched. With over 600 funded post-grant publications, a number of findings are already arising for the initiative that will be described.

The presentation will make emphasis on the results achieved for Italian institutions thus far, and will also describe the new workflows that have recently started being applied for the implementation of the pre-payment agreements with publishers.

Following the presentation, a Q&A session will be held to discuss questions and comments raised by the event attendees.

Time: the webinar will last 1 hour (11 to 12 CET)

Registration: the webinar is free of charge. It is only needed to register. Registrations will close on September 30th at 17h CET.
